Items in our online store  will vary throughout the year and may include:

1)  If you are unsure if your organization can sell 400 items to reach the 40% profit level, please consider one of our other fundraising programs. 

2)  Brochure sales with shelf-stable items, such as those offered in Heartland Goodies & Gifts, are available to ship throughout the United States.

How Does the Heartland Goodies & Gifts Spring Fundraiser Work?

  • Request your Brochures - Call us or complete a Fundraising Purchase and Reservation Agreement and return it to us by fax to 410-630-7080 or scan/email to deb@best-fundraising-ideas.com. We will ship one brochure, order form, and collection envelope for each of your participants, who will ask their family, friends, and neighbors to buy items from the brochure. Orders are taken, and money is collected. We offer an electronic payment option for your supporters besides cash sales.

  • Participant Letter - We will customize a participant letter to include why you are fundraising, your goal, closing date, whom to make checks payable to, if applicable, and whom to contact if any participants have questions. The letter will include the steps for a participant to register, the online store web address, your Group ID, tips for promoting the fundraiser through email, text, and social media, and instructions for your customers to place orders.

  • Fundraising Goals - Review your goals with your members and set a minimum number of items for each participant to sell. In addition to showing the brochure to co-workers, friends, and family, we suggest asking your participants to email 30-40 contacts, send texts, and post on all available social media to purchase directly with the seller and/or share the link to purchase online. Supporters can pay your organization by cash, check, or cash app. You choose. We also provide electronic payment by phone.

  • Promoting your Online Fundraising Store - Your organization can raise even more money with our online store by offering hundreds of assorted items and donation options. Online sales will make it easy for your participants to contact their family and friends locally and throughout the United States. We will set up an account for your organization, provide you with a unique Group ID for your store, and provide login information for your chairperson's dashboard. Your chairperson will invite their participants to register as sellers by inviting them to visit the online store, enter their Group ID, and click on a link to register as sellers.   • Online Fundraising Shopping Options - Your supporters can have their order shipped to your organization along with your brochure sales order, or customers can pay a shipping fee and have their order shipped directly to their homes. Your organization will earn a 40% profit on all sales.

  • Student Success - The key to a successful online fundraiser is to ensure your students register as sellers and use many options to invite all their friends and family to shop at your Goodies and Gifts online store. We highly recommend encouraging your participants to send out messages on the first day your sale starts. Because people are forgetful or may need to be asked more than once before purchasing, we recommend asking your participants to send out emails and posts as a reminder halfway through your sale. A "last chance to order" reminder should be sent a few days before your sale's end. As a chairperson, sending reminders to your participants will be the key to success.

  • After your traditional brochure selling period (we recommend 2-3 weeks), collect the order forms and money from your sellers. Deposit the money in your organization's account, and submit the order forms to us for processing. We will provide you with a shipping label for returning your seller's order forms. There are no case requirements for the Heartland Goodies & Gifts fundraiser! Order only what you sell!

  • Cut-Off Dates—We highly suggest starting a fall fundraiser early in the season. September fundraisers achieve significantly higher participation and sales. Sales decrease with each week closer to the end of the year. Start early to allow enough time to complete your fundraiser and for the brochure order forms to be received before the following cut-off dates. Order forms should be submitted by the dates below.

  • Easter: For delivery before Easter Sunday, order forms need to be returned by the week of March 6th for delivery the week of April 3rd.

  • Mother's Day: For delivery prior to Mother's Day, order forms need to be returned by the week of April 10th for delivery the week of May 8th. 

  • End of School Year/Spring Sports Season: Allow up to 3-4 weeks plus transit time after order forms have been received for data entry to be completed and the order to be packed, shipped, and delivered. 

  • Thanksgiving: For delivery before Thanksgiving, order forms need to be returned by the week of October 16th for delivery the week BEFORE the week of November 20th.

  • Christmas: For delivery prior to Christmas break, order forms need to be returned by the week of November 13th for delivery the week of December 18th. 

  • Oct-Dec Delivery: Allow up to 4 weeks plus transit time after your order forms have been received for data entry to be completed and the order to be packed, shipped, and delivered. 

  • Once the data entry has been completed, we'll email sales reports and your invoice for the amount due to you. After reviewing the invoice, you can pay by mailing us a school/business check or money order along with a copy of your invoice. You can also call and pay by Visa or Master Card. We accept purchase orders from public schools with 15 15-day payment agreement and will release your order to be shipped upon receipt of a valid purchase order. All orders with Heartland Goodies & Gifts are shipped packed by each seller.

  • Upon receipt of payment or purchase order, your order will be processed, and the products will be shipped to you, packed by the seller, and distributed to your sellers.

  • We encourage you to sell 400+ items, and your profit will be 40% with free shipping. Orders less than 400 items will range from 25% to 38%. On average, just 40 students selling 10 items or 25 students selling 16 items will receive free shipping. 

  • Profit:  Sell 400+ items - Earn 40%,  Sell 300-399 items - Earn 38%, Sell 200-299 items - Earn 35%, Sell 150-199 items - Earn 30%, Sell 120-149 items - Earn 25%

  • Shipping: Receive free shipping with 120+ items sold!

  • Your organization keeps the profit you earned upfront.  We will deduct your online sales profit from the amount due on your brochure sales.  Orders shipping directly to a customer's home will ship within a few days. With traditional brochure orders, we do our best to ship your Heartland Goodies & Gifts fundraising order within four weeks of receiving payment. Please allow an additional 3-5 days for transportation time.

  • To offer a Direct Ship to Home only fundraiser, you can SIGN UP NOW.  No one needs to sell face-to-face or use a brochure and order form. Once you submit the online form, your online sales will immediately be activated in the online store, and you can raise funds until you are ready to close your sale. We will ship each order directly to the supporters. Your group will still earn a 40% profit with our online sales!  For higher sales, we suggest including a traditional brochure fundraiser. Our Tons of Prizes program is reserved for elementary-middle school-age children and includes some of the coolest prizes you'll find anywhere, and kids will love them. Tons of Prizes is an accumulative prize program offered free to keep your participants motivated and to reward them for a job well done! Setting a goal to earn a higher price level will keep your participants focused, motivated, and selling.


Our Tons of Prizes program is available on orders submitted as packed-by-seller, not for bulk orders.  Individual student/participant order forms can't be combined to qualify for higher-level prizes, and we reserved the right to not ship prizes if the organization abuses the purpose of the prize program.
