Request your brochures - Call us or complete a Fundraising Purchase and Reservation Agreement and return it to us by fax to 410-630-7080 or scan/email deb@best-fundraising-ideas.com. We will ship one brochure, order form, and collection envelope for each of your participants, who will ask their family, friends, and neighbors to buy items from the brochure. Orders are taken, and money is collected. We offer an electronic payment option for your supporters besides cash sales.

Participant Letter - We will customize a participant letter to include why you are fundraising, your goal, closing date, whom to make checks payable to, if applicable, and whom to contact if any participants have questions. The letter will include the steps for a participant to register, the online store web address, your Group ID, tips for promoting the fundraiser through email, text, and social media, and instructions for your customers to place orders.

 

Fundraising Goals - Review your goals with your members and set a minimum number of items for each participant to sell. In addition to showing the brochure to co-workers, friends, and family, we suggest asking your participants to email 30-40 contacts, send texts, and post on all available social media to purchase directly with the seller and/or share the link to purchase online. Supporters can pay your organization by cash, check, or cash app. You choose. We also provide electronic payment by phone.

Online Fundraising Shopping Options - Your supporters can ship their orders to your organization, your brochure sales order, or directly to their homes. Your organization can earn up to 40% profit on all online sales.

 

Student Success -To have a successful online fundraiser, you must ensure that your students register as sellers and use various methods to invite all their friends and family to shop from your online fundraising store. We highly recommend encouraging your participants to send out messages on the first day of your sale, as people may need reminders before purchasing. It's a good idea to ask your participants to send emails and posts as a mid-sale reminder. Additionally, a "last chance to order" reminder should be sent a few days before the end of your sale. As the chairperson, sending reminders to your participants will be crucial for achieving success.

 

After your traditional brochure-selling period 

Please remember the following instructions: We recommend collecting your sellers' order forms and money within 2-3 weeks. Once collected, deposit the money in your organization's account and submit the order forms to us for processing. We will provide a shipping label to return your seller's order forms. No minimum order requirements exist for your Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough fundraiser, so please only order what you sell.

Cut-Off Dates—We highly suggest starting a fall fundraiser early in the season. September fundraisers achieve significantly higher participation and sales, but sales decrease each week closer to the end of the year. Start early to allow enough time to complete your fundraiser and for the brochure order forms to be received before the following cut-off dates. Order forms should be submitted by the dates below.

Easter: For delivery before Easter Sunday, order forms need to be returned by the week of March 6th for delivery the week of April 3rd.  

Mother's Day: Order forms must be returned by the week of April 10th for delivery before Mother's Day on May 8th. 

End of School Year/Spring Sports Season: Allow up to 3-4 weeks plus transit time after order forms have been received for data entry to be completed and the order to be packed, shipped, and delivered. 

Thanksgiving: For delivery before Thanksgiving, order forms need to be returned by the week of October 14th for delivery the week BEFORE November 18th.

Christmas: For delivery before Christmas break, order forms must be returned by the week of November 11th for delivery before the week of December 16th. 

Oct-Dec Delivery: Allow up to 4 weeks plus transit time after your order forms have been received for complete data entry and the order to be packed, shipped, and delivered. 

 

Once the data entry has been completed, we'll email sales reports and your invoice for the amount due. After reviewing the invoice, you can pay by mailing us a school/business check or money order along with a copy of your invoice. You can also call and pay by Visa or Master Card. We accept purchase orders from public schools with a 15-day payment agreement and will release your order to be shipped upon receipt of a valid purchase order. All orders with Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough are shipped packed by each seller.

 

Upon receipt of payment or purchase order, your order will be processed, and the products will be shipped to you, packed by the seller, for distribution to your sellers.

 

Profit - We encourage you to sell 400+ items; your profit will be 40%. Orders of less than 400 items will earn a 25% to 38% profit, depending on the number of items sold. Sell 400+ items - Earn 40%, Sell 300-399 items - Earn 38%, Sell 200-299 items - Earn 35%, Sell 150-199 items - Earn 30%, Sell 120-149 items - Earn 25%

Sales Reports/Invoice - Once the data entry has been completed, we'll email sales reports and your invoice for the due amount. We will deduct your online sales profit from the amount due on your brochure sales, or vice versa if your online sales are higher. Your organization keeps the profit you earned upfront. After reviewing the invoice, you can pay by mailing a school/business check or money order along with a copy of your invoice. You can also call and pay by Visa or Master Card for a fee. We accept purchase orders from public schools with a 15-day payment agreement and will release your order to be shipped upon receipt of a valid purchase order. All orders with our Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough Fundraiser are shipped packed by each seller.  Note: You can place a bulk order using our single-page Otis Fundraising brochure. Bulk orders are ordered by the case with each case 6 items that are the same flavor.

 

Your organization keeps the profit you earned upfront.  We will deduct your online sales profit from the amount due on your brochure sales.  Orders shipping directly to a customer's home will ship within a few days. With traditional brochure orders, we do our best to ship your Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough fundraising order within 4-5 weeks after receiving payment. Shipping your order during the busiest season in October and November may take additional time. Please allow an additional 3-5 days for transportation time once your order has shipped.

 

You can SIGN UP NOW to offer a Virtual, Direct Ship to Home-only fundraiser. No one needs to sell face-to-face or use a brochure and order form. Once you submit the online form your online sales will immediately activate the online store and the ability to raise funds until you are ready to close your sale. We will ship each order directly to the supporters. Your group can earn a 40% profit with our online sales!  For higher sales, we suggest including a traditional brochure fundraiser. Note: Frozen food fundraisers will require a refrigerated delivery to a location with refrigeration. The delivery date and time will be scheduled by the shipper, you'll receive a call from the shipping company with the date and time of your delivery, and the organization will need someone available to receive the delivery.  A school or business address is required for the delivery. We are not able to deliver to an athletic field. If delivery will be to a private gym or similar location, please note that the delivery date and time will be determined by the shipping company, and they cannot accommodate the specific date and time requests.
